Job Description
**Job Title:** Salesforce Software Engineer Intern **Role Summary:** Internship focused on developing, debugging, and testing Salesforce-based solutions within a Centers of Excellence environment. Responsibilities include creating workflow automations, proof‑of‑concept code, and full‑cycle documentation to support mobile and desktop applications. **Expectations:** * Full commitment to a 11‑week program. * 40 hours/week, primarily within normal business hours. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a mentor/team. * Proactive problem‑solving, critical thinking, and adherence to project deadlines. **Key Responsibilities:** * Design, code, test, and deploy declarative and programmatic Salesforce solutions. * Develop Lean/Scrum‑aligned workflow automations on Salesforce.com. * Build and evaluate proof‑of‑concept code for emerging processes and technologies. * Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC): requirements, design, implementation, integration, testing. * Create, manage, and maintain technical and use‑case documentation. * Log and manage assigned tasks, ensuring timely completion. **Required Skills:** * Proficiency in modern programming languages (C#, Java, JavaScript, Python, SQL). * Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. * Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development practices. * Excellent written and verbal communication. * Self‑motivation with capacity to work both independently and in a fast‑paced, virtual team environment. **Required Education & Certifications:** * Current enrollment as a rising sophomore, junior, or senior in an accredited bachelor’s program (Computer Science, Engineering, or related field). * Minimum GPA of 3.0. * Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship. ---
