**Job Title:** Tech Lead Windows / DevOps
**Role Summary:**
Lead technical authority for Windows and DevOps initiatives within a TechOps team, overseeing the design, implementation, operation, and security of on‑premise and sovereign‑cloud Windows platforms. Acts as the primary coordinator for build, run, and obsolescence activities, ensuring alignment with business needs, architectural standards, and service‑level expectations.
**Expectations:**
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Windows system administration, infrastructure engineering, or comparable technical leadership roles.
- Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams, manage multiple concurrent projects, and drive technical decisions.
- Strong stakeholder management with business units, vendors, and internal IT departments.
- Ability to produce high‑quality technical documentation and communicate complex concepts clearly.
- Proactive in continuous improvement, risk escalation, and maintaining operational excellence.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Participate in early project phases (technical scoping, RFI/RFP) and advise project managers on Windows/DevOps feasibility.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications; ensure projects fit strategy, budget, and value‑add criteria.
- Provide technical lead support to internal teams and business users; coordinate with vendors and solution providers.
- Draft and review technical dossiers (CCIN, homologation, specifications, DAT/DCT).
- Lead lifecycle management of Windows servers/platforms, including upgrades, obsolescence remediation, and automation implementation.
- Define, implement, and monitor Windows‑focused DevOps pipelines and automation tools.
- Ensure operational continuity (MCO/MCS), performance monitoring, and incident response using tools such as SNAV.
- Manage backlog, prioritize work, and facilitate technical workshops or meetings.
- Contribute to continuous service‑quality improvement initiatives.
**Required Skills:**
- Deep expertise in Windows operating systems, services, Active Directory, DFS, GPO, NTFS permissions, and in‑place upgrades.
- Strong knowledge of N‑tier architectures and networking fundamentals (firewall, DNS).
- Proficiency with MECM, PKI certificate management, and Windows troubleshooting/log analysis.
- Hands‑on experience with DevOps practices, automation platforms, and scripting (PowerShell or equivalent).
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., SNAV) and virtualization, backup, and infrastructure design.
- Excellent documentation, synthesis, and communication abilities; capable of leading meetings and workshops.
- Skilled in backlog management, priority setting, and multitasking across parallel projects.
- ITIL awareness (certification a plus) and a pragmatic, business‑oriented mindset.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Minimum Bac + 2 (or equivalent two‑year higher‑education diploma) in an IT‑related field, or comparable recognized qualification.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Windows Server, DevOps Engineer, ITIL) are advantageous but not mandatory.
