Job Description
**Job Title** Sales Director – Sell‑in / Sell‑out EAME **Role Summary** Lead commercial growth for a premium beauty brand across EAME, directing sell‑in, sell‑out, trade marketing, and operational marketing. Drive new account acquisition in France and EAME, manage key partner performance, and ensure brand consistency in selective distribution channels. Own revenue targets, margin, budget execution, and cross‑functional alignment with supply, finance, and marketing. **Expectations** - Achieve aggressive revenue and margin goals in selected luxury retail, department store, e‑retail, distributor, hospitality, and spa segments. - Rapidly open new high‑margin luxury accounts, leveraging an established industry network. - Maintain consistent brand image and service standards across all partners. - Deliver measurable ROI on trade marketing initiatives and sales investments. **Key Responsibilities** 1. **Commercial Development (Sell‑in):** Define & execute channel strategy, negotiate annual agreements (assortment, pricing, trade terms), and monitor account performance. 2. **Prospecting & New Accounts:** Identify and secure luxury partners in France and EAME, conduct buyer meetings, build business cases, and finalize contracts. 3. **Sell‑out Acceleration:** Develop partner sell‑out plans (visibility, rotation, training, events), track KPIs (sell‑out, stock availability, WOS), and implement corrective actions. 4. **Trade Marketing & Operational Marketing Ownership:** Plan and manage promotional calendars, activations, sampling, e‑merchandising, and budgeting with ROI focus; ensure flawless execution of merchandising, planograms, and retail tools. 5. **Operational Excellence & Cross‑Functional Leadership:** Coordinate S&OP and forecasts, collaborate with Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Legal, and standardize processes to scale performance. **Required Skills** - 8–12+ years in beauty, luxury, or premium FMCG sales, including management experience. - Proven KAM and negotiation skills; mastery of sell‑out levers (activation, merchandising). - Strong business‑development background with a ready-to‑open luxury network (buyers, retail directors, hospitality directors, distributors). - Hunter mindset: structured prospecting, pipeline & CRM management, and closing ability. - Storytelling and premium brand communication skills. - ROI‑driven performance management (forecast, budgets, KPI analysis). - Leadership, cross‑functional influence, and high execution discipline. - Professional proficiency in French and English; additional language skills advantageous for EAME zones. **Required Education & Certifications** - Minimum Bac+5 (equivalent) in sales, marketing, business management, or related field.
