Job Description
Job Title: Research Analyst Role Summary Conduct in‑depth market and competitor analysis to inform marketing strategy, leasing decisions, and development plans across retail, PBSA, hotel, and residential assets. Partner with asset managers, leasing teams, and vendors to translate data insights into actionable campaigns and investment recommendations. Expectations Deliver timely, data‑driven insights that shape marketing plans, optimize leasing performance, and support underwriting and investor communications. Key Responsibilities - Research and analyze market comps, pricing, absorption rates, tenant demographics, and leasing performance. - Monitor competitor marketing tactics (digital presence, campaigns, amenities, branding) and produce comparative reports. - Evaluate economic, demographic, and sub‑market trends impacting asset performance or acquisition opportunities. - Develop asset‑specific marketing plans, positioning, targeting, and budget recommendations in collaboration with asset and leasing teams. - Coordinate with creative vendors, agencies, and internal marketing units to execute campaigns. - Build dashboards and performance reports tracking KPIs, leasing velocity, digital ROI, and campaign effectiveness. - Provide analytical support for underwriting, pro forma development, and valuation of repositioning or renovation projects. - Contribute to investor presentations, business plans, and board updates. Required Skills - Advanced Excel, Power BI or Tableau, and market research tools. - Strong quantitative and analytical abilities, with attention to detail. - Knowledge of real‑estate fundamentals, leasing metrics, and property marketing best practices. - Effective written and verbal communication, able to translate data into clear recommendations. - Project management skills, capable of handling multiple initiatives simultaneously. Required Education & Certifications - Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, Real Estate, Finance, or related field. - Minimum 2 years experience in real‑estate marketing analytics, investment analysis, or similar roles (developer or REIT experience preferred). ---
