Job Description

**Job Title** Construction Engineer / Building Engineer **Role Summary** Lead the planning, design, cost estimation, bidding, and on‑site execution of construction and renovation projects. Ensure projects meet schedules, budgets, and quality standards while communicating effectively with clients, architects, subcontractors, and internal teams. **Expectations** - Civil or construction engineering background. - Demonstrable experience in construction and renovation project delivery. - Proficiency in architectural and structural software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit). - Strong grasp of public and private procurement regulations. - Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with strict deadlines. - Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation, and teamwork skills. **Key Responsibilities** - Draft and analyze technical drawings and project schematics. - Design site and structural systems tailored to project needs. - Estimate construction costs, prepare budgets, and generate bids. - Respond to consultation requests and tender invitations. - Clarify client requirements and develop technical solutions. - Prepare quotations and submission documents. - Coordinate renovation projects with cross‑functional teams. - Collect and organize data for tender responses. - Create execution plans, construction installation drawings, and work schedules. - Conduct technical studies and analyses. - Oversee on‑site work, ensuring compliance with plans and specifications. - Facilitate communication among stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. - Utilize GIS tools to manage project data efficiently. - Produce technical reports and articles related to building projects. **Required Skills** - AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit (advanced). - Construction cost estimation and budgeting. - Knowledge of public procurement rules and market regulations. - Multi‑project management and time‑management. - Strong organizational and detail‑oriented approach. - Negotiation and client relationship management. - Technical writing and reporting. - GIS fundamentals for construction data. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Bac + 5) in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. - Familiarity with public procurement regulations (mandatory). - Professional certifications in construction project management or BIM are advantageous but not mandatory.
