Job Description
**Job title:** Industrial Business Development Officer – Automotive **Role Summary:** Lead the full lifecycle of industrial equipment projects in a production environment, from concept to series production, ensuring quality, cost, and schedule objectives while supporting continuous improvement. **Expectations:** * Perform end‑to‑end project management for production equipment. * Maintain production continuity with on‑site technical support. * Drive industrialisation of product and process changes. * Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, procurement, suppliers, and manufacturing teams. **Key Responsibilities:** * Define project scope, write specifications, conduct feasibility studies. * Coordinate supplier selection, negotiate contracts, and monitor delivery. * Manage installation, commissioning, and performance validation. * Track quality, cost, and schedule metrics for each project. * Identify and implement improvement initiatives (performance, ergonomics, safety, cost savings). * Provide technical guidance to production staff on new equipment. **Required Skills:** * Project management and lifecycle oversight of industrial equipment. * Strong understanding of automotive manufacturing processes (sheet metal, stamping, assembly, mounting). * Proficiency in product and process development tools (process FMEA, feasibility analysis, tooling design). * CAD competency for equipment design and modification. * Ability to analyze and improve performance, cost, and safety metrics. * Effective communication and stakeholder management across cross‑functional teams. **Required Education & Certifications:** * Bachelor’s (Bac+3) to Master’s (Bac+5) degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Management, or related field. * Relevant project management or industrial equipment experience in automotive, aerospace, or comparable manufacturing sector.
