Own end‑to‑end CI/CD pipelines in GitLab, automate complex workflows across Windows and Linux environments, and enforce monitoring, logging, and security across hybrid deployments. **Expectations** - Deliver reliable, scalable cloud solutions for production workloads. - Lead automation initiatives to eliminate manual toil and improve deployment consistency. - Mentor cross‑functional teams on DevOps best practices and tool usage. - Maintain high service availability, performance, and compliance standards. **Key Responsibilities** - Design, deploy, and manage Azure infrastructure, including networking, storage, compute, and security services. - Serve as the subject‑matter expert for Windows Server and Linux (Ubuntu/RHEL) administration. - Build and optimize high‑performance CI/CD pipelines in GitLab, standardizing deployment across multiple teams. - Develop and maintain Python, PowerShell, and Bash automation scripts; version‑control all IaC and automation code in Git. - Implement system monitoring, logging, and alerting; enforce security policies across hybrid environments. - Troubleshoot and recover from incidents using command‑line utilities and automated playbooks. - Evaluate and integrate emerging DevOps tools, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and IaC (Terraform, Bicep, ARM). - Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure audit readiness. **Required Skills** - Advanced scripting: Python, PowerShell, Bash. - Azure cloud architecture and operations (IaaS, PaaS). - Dual-stack OS expertise: Windows Server and Linux. - GitLab CI/CD pipelines and GitOps. - Command‑line proficiency in networking, security, and process management. - Strong version‑control practices and IaC fundamentals. - Problem‑solving, debugging, and incident response. - Excellent communication and mentorship. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. - 8+ years professional experience in DevOps, Systems Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering. ---
