Job Description
Job Title: Functional SAP Integration Consultant (M/F) Role Summary: Lead the functional integration of SAP for the new MRO shop project, ensuring that system design, data migration, training, and cutover activities align with business requirements and IT capabilities. Expactations: - Act as the functional liaison for the project, coordinating with SAP functional experts, business owners, and IT to deliver a harmonized maintenance solution across multiple locations. - Manage end‑to‑end functional activities from requirements gathering to user acceptance testing and cutover to production. - Support the creation of new maintenance sites, motor models, and MRO processes within SAP. Key Responsibilities: - Partner with the SAP functional lead to translate business needs into SAP specifications. - Facilitate workshops (conceptual design to detailed design) with business, functional experts, key users, and IT. - Prepare and oversee UAT activities, including data migration, extensions, and validation. - Coordinate key user training schedules and resource allocation. - Design and monitor cutover plans in collaboration with IT to ensure smooth transition to production. - Conduct site visits abroad to understand local processes and gather functional requirements. Required Skills: - Advanced knowledge of SAP (PM/Maintenance modules) and general IT concepts. - Project management experience in functional SAP implementations. - Business requirements analysis and functional design. - Strong communication, listening and facilitation skills. - Proven ability to work cross‑functionally and lead workshops. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline (generalist engineer). - Professional language proficiency: English (mandatory). - Preferred SAP certification (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP S/4HANA for Asset Management / Maintenance) or equivalent functional expertise.
