Job Description
**Job Title**: Salesforce Data Cloud Developer – Remote **Role Summary** Responsible for daily Salesforce administration, configuration, and development to meet business needs. Designs, codes, tests, documents, and deploys solutions across the platform, collaborating with executives, users, and consulting partners on large initiatives. **Expectations** - Manage day‑to‑day Salesforce operations and change/release lifecycle. - Deliver high‑quality, scalable platform enhancements with minimal guidance. - Maintain clear, auditable documentation and best‑practice SOPs. **Key Responsibilities** - Configure and customize Salesforce (custom objects, page layouts, validation rules, workflow rules, approval processes, Lightning components, process builder, Visual Workflow, etc.). - Develop Apex code, triggers, test classes, Visualforce pages, and Lightning components. - Use Data Loader and other migration tools for data loads. - Integrate Salesforce with Outlook/MS Exchange and other external systems. - Build and consume APIs (SOAP, REST, BULK, Streaming). - Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and manage backlog items. - Produce functional and technical documentation, diagrams, SOPs, and user guides. **Required Skills** - Advanced Salesforce configuration and customization. - Apex programming, triggers, test classes, Visualforce, Lightning components. - Proficiency with SOQL/SOSL, Data Loader, Process Builder, Flow, and email templates. - Experience with SOAP, REST, BULK, and Streaming APIs. - Change and release management in Salesforce. - Agile Scrum methodology. - Strong communication, problem‑solving, and multi‑tasking abilities. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. - 4+ years of Salesforce configuration/customization experience. - 4+ years of Salesforce change/release management experience. - Salesforce Developer Certification DEV‑401 (mandatory). **Preferred Credentials** - 3+ years with Salesforce development toolkit (Apex, Visualforce, HTML, CSS, jQuery). - 3+ years with AppExchange tools. - 1+ year Agile Scrum practice. - 1+ year Salesforce1 and Outlook/MS Exchange integration experience. - Salesforce Developer Certification DEV‑501 (preferred).
