Job Description
Job Title: Ticketing Technology Specialist Role Summary: Lead the transformation of ticketing operations from spreadsheet‑based workflows to an integrated, API‑driven platform. Design, build, and maintain a unified data and reporting ecosystem that delivers real‑time insights for revenue optimization and operational efficiency. Serve as the technical liaison between ticketing partners (AXS, Eventim, Ticketmaster), internal stakeholders, and senior leadership to align goals and drive data‑centric decision making. Expectations: - Deliver a modern ticketing infrastructure within a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. - Meet project milestones under agile governance, managing scope, budget, and risks. - Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR). - Communicate complex technical concepts to non‑technical audiences and sustain stakeholder alignment. Key Responsibilities: 1. Map existing ticketing workflows and design a centralized, API‑driven manifest creation system with clear SOPs. 2. Develop a data warehouse and create intuitive dashboards (Power BI, Tableau, or Looker) for real‑time reporting and self‑service analytics. 3. Lead the creation of a collaborative 3D venue manifest platform and associated profit‑optimisation tools. 4. Act as the technical bridge between ticketing providers, internal departments, and senior leadership to align objectives and drive transformation. 5. Oversee project delivery, including timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation, while ensuring data privacy compliance. Required Skills: - Strong data modeling, SQL, and ETL expertise. - Proficiency with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or Looker). - Experience with API integration using modern web technologies (REST, GraphQL). - Ability to analyze large datasets and translate data into actionable insights. - Excellent stakeholder management and cross‑functional communication skills. - Creative, solutions‑focused mindset with a passion for visualizing venue layouts and revenue optimisation. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, Business Technology, or a related field. - Relevant certifications in data warehousing, BI tools, or API management preferred (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Power BI Expert, Data Warehouse Foundations).
