Job Description
Job Title: DevOps Engineer Role Summary: Automate and manage CI/CD pipelines, release processes, and cloud environments primarily in Azure. Work collaboratively with engineering, QA, and support to ensure high‑quality, timely deployments of a cloud‑based product suite. Expactations: - Drive automation and process improvement for release management. - Balance release velocity with quality and reliability. - Communicate status, risks, and solutions to cross‑functional teams. - Respond to critical incidents and perform out‑of‑hours production updates as required. Key Responsibilities: - Design, maintain, and evolve Azure DevOps YAML pipelines for build, test, and release. - Manage development, test, and production environments in Azure. - Prepare and implement release notes and schedules. - Conduct technical reviews and contribute to continuous integration and delivery best practices. - Collaborate on the architecture and scaling of new features, including Kubernetes deployments when applicable. - Facilitate maintenance releases, security patches, and infrastructure upgrades. Required Skills: - Proven experience with Azure DevOps (VSTS) and YAML pipeline configuration. - Proficiency in Git version control. - Familiarity with Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools, especially Terraform. - Strong scripting abilities (PowerShell, Bash, or similar). - Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills. - Ability to work independently and within team settings. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent technical experience. - Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert) preferred but not mandatory. ---
