Job title: IT Operations Manager
Role Summary: Lead the design, deployment, and ongoing administration of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments for a diversified managed‑services portfolio, while mentoring teams and ensuring secure, scalable, and cost‑effective cloud and endpoint solutions.
Expectations:
- Deliver end‑to‑end Azure and M365 services that meet or exceed SLA targets.
- Drive cloud and desktop modernization initiatives that improve operational efficiency and client satisfaction.
- Balance hands‑on technical delivery with strategic planning and client engagement.
- Foster continuous improvement of service offerings and internal processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- **Technical Strategy & Architecture** – Define and enforce best‑practice architecture for Azure and M365, including hybrid identity and migration roadmaps.
- **Azure Cloud Services Leadership** – Monitor multi‑tenant Azure operations via Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Advisor; oversee migrations and cost optimisation.
- **Microsoft 365 & Endpoint Management** – Administer Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Defender; manage Intune, Autopilot, Azure AD Join, and Windows 11 device lifecycle.
- **Client Engagement & Service Delivery** – Serve as technical advisor, lead onboarding and transformation projects, manage escalations, and maintain SLA compliance.
- **Security, Governance & Compliance** – Implement access controls, MFA, DLP, Conditional Access, device encryption, and regulatory‑compliant configurations.
- **Team Leadership & Development** – Recruit, mentor, schedule, and train Azure engineers, M365 admins, and desktop support staff; promote knowledge sharing and documentation.
- **Service Innovation & Improvement** – Evaluate new Microsoft technologies, standardize deployment patterns, and refine service catalogs and automation frameworks.

- Ability to execute hands‑on tasks while guiding strategic initiatives.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Microsoft Azure certifications: Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert (or equivalent).
- Microsoft 365 certifications: Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert (or equivalent).
- Additional security certifications (e.g., CISSP, MCSE Security) preferred.
