Job title: Freelance Developer / Web Designer Role Summary: Build and launch a boutique WordPress/Webflow website and associated marketing tools for a new French terroir-focused blog, delivering a fully functional site, newsletter system, and visual assets within a 2‑month trial phase. Expectations: Deliver a mobile‑responsive, SEO‑optimized site with integrated analytics and newsletter workflow; produce Instagram content templates; ensure basic security and ongoing maintenance; showcase creative, pragmatic problem‑solving and strong independent work. Key Responsibilities: • Install and configure a modern CMS (WordPress or Webflow). • Select, customize, and configure a clean, responsive theme suitable for mobile. • Set up basic SEO settings and integrate Google Analytics. • Implement a newsletter system (Mailchimp or Brevo) with subscription form. • Design consistent visual templates for Instagram using Canva or Figma. • Apply basic security measures (SSL, backups) and conduct routine updates. • Provide tool access and documentation; hand over a fully operational site. Required Skills: • Proficiency with WordPress or Webflow, including theme customization. • Front‑end web design and UX best practices. • SEO fundamentals and analytics integration. • Experience with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, Brevo). • Competence in graphic design tools (Canva, Figma). • Basic website security and maintenance. • Strong communication, storytelling sense, and ability to deliver simple, effective solutions.
