Job Description
Job title: Business Development Analyst – EMEA Role Summary: Provide analytical and operational support to senior Business Development team members, enabling the development and deepening of relationships with institutional investors across Europe, Latin America and the Middle East. Manage proposal and due‑diligence documentation, coordinate investor communications, maintain marketing and presentation assets, and serve as a central liaison for sustainability initiatives. Expactations: - 2–3 years of post‑undergraduate experience in financial services, investment management or management consulting. - Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business or a STEM discipline from a reputable university. - Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and a strong drive for independent and collaborative work. - Exceptional analytical, problem‑solving and detail‑oriented skills. - Professional proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel; strong written and oral communication. - Ability to coordinate cross‑functional teams and deliver high‑quality results on time. - Optional: professional working proficiency in Danish and/or German. Key Responsibilities: - Support senior BD members in building and nurturing investor relationships. - Acquire and apply in‑depth knowledge of investment products and asset classes. - Update marketing materials and distribute firm publications, webinars, and analysis. - Lead the completion of Requests for Proposal, Information, and Due Diligence questionnaires, coordinating with internal stakeholders. - Collaborate with portfolio managers to create and keep up‑to‑date presentation and pitch assets. - Act as the primary point of contact for existing investors, managing inquiries and internal resource coordination. - Schedule and facilitate client meetings, conference calls, and investor events. - Serve as the internal focal point for sustainability‑related projects and investor outreach. Required Skills: - Analytical and problem‑solving expertise within finance or investment contexts. - Advanced PowerPoint and Excel capabilities. - Strong written and verbal communication; concise presentation skills. - Self‑starter with ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Detail‑oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple deadlines. - Knowledge of financial markets, investment management, and related regulatory environment. - (Preferred) Danish and/or German language proficiency. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business, or STEM fields from a top university. - No mandatory professional certifications required; relevant financial qualifications (e.g., CFA, FRM) considered an asset.
