Job Description
**Job Title:** Head of Sales – UGG (UK & Ireland) **Role Summary:** Lead the long‑term strategic growth of the UGG brand in the UK and Ireland. Manage and develop a cross‑functional sales team, build and nurture senior buyer relationships, and align country objectives with global EMEA and US strategies. **Expectations:** - Deliver agreed sales targets and profitability metrics. - Provide strategic direction while overseeing day‑to‑day execution. - Maintain high standards of professionalism and brand representation. - Enable talent development and succession planning within the sales team. **Key Responsibilities:** - Set and execute the country sales strategy and forecast, including seasonal product planning. - Manage key non‑strategic accounts: secure orders, optimize sell‑through, and control inventory levels. - Coordinate with the Head of Wholesale EMEA on sales data, profitability, and performance reporting. - Partner with Marketing to deliver brand‑aligned campaigns and promotional activities on schedule. - Build and sustain relationships with senior business partners, buying directors, and internal stakeholders. - Lead, coach, and evaluate the national sales team; develop succession plans. - Travel within the local market as required and represent the brand in a positive, professional manner. **Required Skills:** - Proven experience in national sales and team leadership in footwear, fashion, or beauty sectors. - Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Deep understanding of local consumer behavior, cultural dynamics, and commercial objectives. - Ability to balance strategic planning with operational execution. - Experience navigating global matrix organisations and collaborating across functions. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. - MBA or advanced management qualification preferred. - Professional sales or brand‑management certification (e.g., Certified Professional Sales Leader, CSM) considered an asset.
