Job Description
**Job Title** Senior System Test Engineer **Role Summary** Lead system-level testing of networked audio conferencing systems to ensure hardware, firmware, and software perform seamlessly as a unified ecosystem. Design realistic, customer-focused test scenarios, evaluate performance under varied conditions, and drive test activities to meet tight launch and release schedules. **Expectations** - At least 8 years in quality engineering or system testing, focusing on hardware‑software integration. - Proven ability to craft and execute comprehensive test plans, including regression, performance, and integration testing. - Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify, document, and resolve product issues. - Experience with embedded or networked device testing. - Demonstrated technical leadership: mentorship, clear communication, and influence on decisions. - Ability to work independently while collaborating with global teams in an agile environment. **Key Responsibilities** - Develop and execute end‑to‑end test plans for audio conferencing systems. - Create realistic test scenarios mirroring complex, real‑world use cases. - Validate interoperability and performance across interconnected hardware, firmware, and software. - Identify, troubleshoot, and document issues; collaborate with engineering and product teams. - Drive testing forward to meet release deadlines and product launch schedules. - Mentor and guide junior test engineers, fostering a quality‑driven culture. - Participate in continuous improvement of test processes and tooling. **Required Skills** - Manual and automated testing expertise (regression, performance, integration). - Strong understanding of hardware‑software integration and system‑level testing. - Familiarity with embedded systems or networked device environments. - Excellent problem‑solving, documentation, and communication skills. - Leadership and mentorship capabilities. - Agile development mindset and experience in high‑velocity release processes. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (equivalent experience acceptable). - ISTQB or similar test engineering certification (preferred but not mandatory).
