Job Description

**Job Title** Network Consultant **Role Summary** Responsible for designing, implementing, and testing secure, scalable network solutions. Leads low‑level design, deployment, and operational transition for campus and enterprise environments, with primary focus on Juniper, Palo Alto, and Aruba ClearPass technologies. **Expectations** - Minimum 5 years of LAN/WLAN design and implementation experience. - Proven track record of deploying and configuring Juniper networking equipment. - Strong knowledge of Palo Alto products (including SASE) and Aruba ClearPass. - Experience with NAC, perimeter security, and monitoring toolsets. - Ability to document change control and transition projects to support teams. - Excellent communication skills for translating technical details to non‑technical stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities** - Develop and support low‑level designs (LLDs) for network transformation projects. - Lead installation, configuration, and testing of Juniper LAN/WLAN solutions. - Deploy and configure Palo Alto firewalls, SASE solutions, and Aruba ClearPass. - Create and execute solution test plans, test scripts, and documentation. - Pre‑stage, test, and implement network components within project scope. - Ensure smooth hand‑over of projects into operational support. - Collaborate with project managers, service managers, and engineering teams. - Present designs and test results to stakeholders and participate in technical discussions. - Keep knowledge current on networking technologies and industry best practices. **Required Skills** - Juniper networking design and implementation (LAN/WLAN). - Campus‑based network deployment. - Palo Alto technologies and Aruba ClearPass. - NAC solutions, perimeter security, monitoring toolsets. - Change control processes and technical documentation. - Project transition to operational support. - Strong verbal and written communication for diverse audiences. **Required Education & Certifications** - JNCIS‑MistAI or equivalent Juniper network certification. - Minimum of JNCIS‑MST (Juniper Switch and Routing) or similar. - Advanced Juniper certifications (Switching, Mist – Specialist) preferred. - Aruba ClearPass Professional (preferred). - Fortinet Certified Professional (FCP) / FortiGate (desirable). - Additional security certifications (e.g., CCNA/CCNP Security, Palo Alto NSE) welcome. ---
