Job Title: Technical Account Manager
Role Summary:
Serve as the primary technical liaison for a portfolio of enterprise customers, ensuring successful adoption, retention, and expansion of Plotly/Dash Enterprise solutions through proactive guidance, relationship management, and cross‑functional collaboration.
Expectations:
- Own end‑to‑end customer relationships, from onboarding to expansion.
- Translate business needs into product enablement, including design advice, coding, and tool recommendations.
- Drive measurable retention and upsell outcomes by demonstrating clear value to stakeholders at all levels.
- Provide executive‑level communication, maintaining presence with C‑level and VP‑level contacts.
- Partner with Product, Customer Success, and Sales teams to surface customer feedback and influence roadmap.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular business reviews with enterprise clients to assess usage, ROI, and strategic fit.
- Plan and execute implementation, enablement, and training sessions, ensuring user adoption and infrastructure alignment.
- Serve as point of contact for technical escalation, coordinating with support and product engineering as needed.
- Identify and document customer pain points, recommending product features or custom solutions.
- Develop and maintain detailed customer profiles, health metrics, and success plans.
- Lead account expansion efforts, presenting renewal and upsell opportunities to senior leadership.
- Travel to client sites for on‑prem or hybrid deployments when required.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience in a technical client‑facing role (Sales Engineering, Customer Success, Support, or Technical Sales).
- Strong written and verbal communication; capable of crafting clear technical docs and executive decks.
- Executive presence with confidence presenting to technical, business, and C‑level audiences.
- Solid understanding of data science, analytics, or software development workflows.
- Practical coding experience in Python; familiarity with JavaScript or BI tools (Tableau, PowerBI) is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities across a portfolio of customers, delivering on deadlines.
- Travel flexibility for on‑site engagements.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related technical field.
- Valid certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., AWS/Azure, Python, data analytics) are a bonus but not mandatory.
