Job Description
**Job Title** Digital & ICT Legal Counsel – Apprenticeship **Role Summary** Provide legal support to the operational teams of a fast‑growing online fundraising platform. Work under the Legal Officer’s supervision to address day‑to‑day legal issues, conduct legal research on platforms, consumer law, data protection and emerging technologies, draft internal training and contractual documents, oversee GDPR compliance, and assist in litigation matters. **Expactations** - Master’s level study, preferably in Digital & New Technologies Law. - Minimum 1 year of legal internship or comparable professional experience. - Strong understanding of GDPR, consumer law, AML/CFT regulations, and digital platform law. - Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, evolving environment. - Fluent written & oral communication in French; professional English is desirable. **Key Responsibilities** - Advise operational teams and the Customer Service/AML teams on daily legal matters. - Conduct targeted legal research on online platforms, consumer rights, data protection, and new technology regulations. - Author internal training materials using legal design principles. - Draft, review, and negotiate contracts (partnerships, intra‑group, influencer, confidentiality, Terms of Use). - Manage the legal documentation repository using a contract‑management tool. - Review and adjust customer‑facing marketing content to ensure compliance with consumer law. - Support the Legal Officer on ongoing litigation cases, organize files, and maintain tracking spreadsheets. - Participate in the implementation and monitoring of GDPR compliance. - Collaborate on corporate‑law related projects at the group level as needed. **Required Skills** - Strong analytical and detail‑oriented mindset. - Excellent research, drafting, and editing abilities. - Proficiency with Lexis360 and a contract‑management system. - Competence in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace. - Confidentiality, discretion, and integrity in handling sensitive information. **Required Education & Certifications** - Current Master’s student or recent graduate in Digital, ICT, or New Technologies Law. - Completed legal internship or equivalent professional exposure. - Official certifications or coursework on GDPR, consumer law, and AML/CFT are advantageous.
