Job Description

**Job Title:** Data Scientist (Apprenticeship) **Role Summary:** A 24‑month apprenticeship merging AI2 Master 1 Data Science & AI studies with practical work for an environmental company. The role focuses on modernizing environmental data flows through generative AI, predictive modelling, and interactive dashboards. **Expectations:** • Enrol in AI2 Master 1 Data Science & AI (starting January 2026). • Participate in all 100 % remote Master coursework. • Commit to the apprenticeship and deliver on‑site project work when scheduled. **Key Responsibilities:** • Deploy generative‑AI tools to automate report generation. • Build and maintain decision‑support dashboards (Power BI, Streamlit). • Structure raw environmental data, clean and transform datasets. • Develop and validate predictive models to support operational decisions. • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. **Required Skills:** • Proficient in Python (pandas, scikit‑learn, transformers). • Experience with generative‑AI frameworks (e.g., GPT, T5). • Knowledge of data visualization tools (Power BI, Streamlit). • Strong data wrangling, feature engineering, and modelling abilities. • Ability to translate domain knowledge into analytical insights. • Excellent communication and teamwork skills. **Required Education & Certifications:** • Bachelor’s degree (Bac+3) in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. • Acceptance into AI2 Master 1 Data Science & AI program.
