Job title: Social Media Manager Role Summary Lead the development and execution of an ambitious social media strategy to increase brand visibility, fan engagement, and user acquisition for a digital horse racing platform. Expactations - Launch and scale a highly engaged, competitive community by January 2026. - Drive follower growth, engagement rates, and app traffic across all owned, paid, and earned channels. - Translate platform features and marketing campaigns into compelling social content. - Foster collaborations with creators, bettors, jockeys, influencers, and industry partners. Key Responsibilities - Build and maintain a monthly editorial calendar aligned with product releases and marketing pushes. - Publish daily posts and manage real‑time community interaction, especially during races and major events. - Produce and supervise creative assets, working with in‑house design/video teams as needed. - Coordinate influencer campaigns, activations, and partnership outreach. - Work with external media agency on acquisition campaigns and measure performance. - Generate monthly analytics reports with insights and actionable recommendations. - Monitor social listening channels, track sentiment, and respond to community discussions. Required Skills - 3+ years managing social media campaigns in sport, gaming, entertainment, or fantasy‑sport contexts. - Strong knowledge of the horse‑racing industry, fantasy‑sport apps, and competitive fan cultures. - Proven creative output, including examples of viral or high‑engagement content. - Expertise in analytics, reporting, and social listening tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Brandwatch, Google Analytics). - Ability to merge strategic vision with rapid operational execution in a dynamic environment. - Excellent written and verbal communication in English; French will be an advantage. Required Education & Certifications - Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field (preferred). - No specific certifications required.
