Job title: E-Commerce Trading Manager
Role Summary: Drive commercial success on a Shopify-based watch retail platform by optimizing pricing, merchandising, and digital marketing while managing product feeds and reporting insights to accelerate sales growth.
Expectations: Deliver measurable sales and margin improvements, lead cross‑functional initiatives, and maintain high‑quality customer experiences through data‑driven trade decisions and timely operational execution.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and adjust competitive pricing, margin protection, and promotional strategies.
* Monitor product performance; manage slow‑moving and best‑seller inventory, coordinate with suppliers.
* Plan, produce, and schedule email, social, blog, and newsletter campaigns; create visual assets.
* Support product launches, brand storytelling, and micro‑brand (Cestrian) initiatives.
* Resolve customer queries via email, live chat, and phone; identify trends to enhance FAQs.
* Optimize product pages for SEO, conversion, and merchandising; update seasonal collections.
* Maintain product feeds for Google Shopping, Meta, and marketplaces; troubleshoot feed errors.
* Manage Google Tag Manager, GA4 conversion tracking, site speed, UX, and SEO foundations.
* Execute and optimize Google Ads (Search, Shopping, Pmax, Display) including keyword research, bid management, A/B testing, and landing page quality.
* Analyze sales, pricing, merchandising, and campaign data; provide weekly reports and commercial recommendations.
Required Skills:
* 3+ years in e‑commerce, trading, or digital marketing with Shopify experience.
* Strong commercial acumen and pricing strategy skills.
* Advanced spreadsheet and data analysis proficiency; KPI focus.
* Excellent written and verbal communication.
* Proactive, solution‑oriented, detail‑driven.
* Competency with Google Analytics, reporting tools, and e‑commerce dashboards.
* Customer‑service experience (email, live chat).
Required Education & Certifications:
* Relevant university degree (e.g., Marketing, Business, Commerce, Economics).
* Full right to work in the UK.
Optional/Desirable:
* Interest or knowledge of watches, luxury goods, or consumer brands.
* Experience with Google Tag Manager, feed management, or technical e‑commerce.
* Marketplace (Amazon, eBay) experience and CRO or UX testing skills.
