**Job Title** Software Engineer Intern **Role Summary** Assist in developing and refining an AI‑driven automation engine that transforms screen recordings into automated workflows. Work on backend systems in Python or Go, build lightweight tooling to evaluate AI plans, and collaborate with senior engineers to enhance generalization across user environments. **Expectations** - Deliver clean, testable code that improves workflow interpretation, validation, and execution. - Operate within a small, fast‑moving team, taking ownership of end‑to‑end feature implementation. - Continuously learn from real data, identify edge cases, and iterate on prompts, heuristics, and product design. **Key Responsibilities** - Develop and debug Python and/or Go modules that interface with large language models and automation agents. - Build and maintain lightweight tools for inspecting, simulating, and evaluating AI‑generated plans. - Collaborate with founding engineers to extend the AI pipeline’s generalization capabilities. - Identify inconsistencies and propose improvements to the automation logic based on real‑world usage. - Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and performance tuning of backend services. **Required Skills** - Proficiency in Python; Go experience is a strong plus. - Comfortable with scripting, lightweight backend development, and RESTful API integration. - Strong debugging, problem‑solving, and analytical skills. - Detail‑oriented, methodical approach to production‑grade code. - Ability to translate user workflows into technical specifications. **Required Education & Certifications** - Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. - No additional certifications required.
