Job Description
Job title: EU Public Affairs Intern Role Summary: Intern will support key corporate and association clients by conducting EU policy research, analysis, and coordination of political engagement activities. The role includes monitoring legislative developments, preparing news and policy briefs, organising events, and representing the firm at conferences and hearings. Expectations: - Work independently on multiple client projects with minimal supervision - Deliver clear, concise analyses of EU legislation, policy debates, and media coverage - Demonstrate flexibility, assertiveness, and strong analytical judgment Key Responsibilities: - Assist key clients with policy monitoring and engagement strategies - Coordinate political engagement and event logistics - Track and summarise developments in European Institutions and policy debates - Produce regular news reports, political analyses, and concise briefing documents - Conduct issue research, monitor policy developments, and produce concise reports - Attend conferences, seminars, and hearings to gather relevant information Required Skills: - Excellent written and verbal communication in French and English (additional EU languages a plus) - Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret legislation, regulations, and policy frameworks - Capability to summarise complex information in clear, concise formats - Assertiveness, flexibility, and autonomous working style - Organizational and prioritisation skills Required Education & Certifications: - University‑level degree in law, political science, or related field - (No additional certifications required)
