Job title: Sr. Manager Marketing – Product Pipeline Role Summary: Own the end‑to‑end product strategy pipeline, translating consumer insights and competitive data into a 3–5 year product roadmap, driving launch, positioning, and performance against business goals. Expectations: Deliver clear, data‑driven product plans, maintain budget discipline, secure cross‑functional alignment, and achieve measurable market penetration and revenue impact. Key Responsibilities: - Mine competitive intelligence, business analytics, and consumer trends to uncover actionable insights. - Own product strategy creation, roadmap building, and prioritization. - Adapt U.S. product strategies for Canadian market, closing gaps and tailoring to local needs. - Identify consumer motivations across food, treats, and cake categories; develop concepts for research studies. - Articulate go‑to‑market positioning, differentiated benefits, and compelling evidence for marketing communications. - Set product development timelines, monitor critical path, and ensure milestones are met. - Collaborate with franchisee committees and cross‑functional teams for alignment and support. - Work with analytics to measure product and promotion impact, recommend optimizations, and apply learnings to future initiatives. - Manage product strategy budgets, tracking ROI and justifying expenditures. Required Skills: - 7+ years product strategy experience; proven ability to convert insights into strategy and GTM plans. - Expertise with consumer research tools (Circana, screeners, Accelerated Learning Labs). - Experience within a franchisor or QSR brand environment. - Strong persuasive leadership, influencing cross‑functional stakeholders. - Ability to prioritize multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and maintain detail orientation. - Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation communication; data storytelling and narrative creation. - Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field (or equivalent experience). - MBA preferred.
