Job Description
Job title: Social Media Coordinator Role Summary: Plan, create, and schedule organic social content on TikTok, Instagram, and emerging platforms to grow community engagement, support brand campaigns, and maintain a consistent brand voice and aesthetic. Expactations: Execute daily posting calendar, produce trend‑driven short‑form videos and captions, monitor community interaction, report performance metrics (engagement, reach, follower growth), facilitate influencer/affiliate collaborations, and identify emerging platform trends to inform strategy. Key Responsibilities: - Draft, schedule, and publish organic posts using tools such as Later or Buffer. - Create engaging short‑form videos, captions, and trend‑driven content with internal teams and creators. - Monitor comments, DMs, and mentions; respond in brand voice and route inquiries to appropriate teams. - Proactively engage fans, creators, and niche communities to foster loyalty. - Conduct trend research and social listening; surface new ideas for content and engagement. - Track, analyze, and report on key metrics (engagement, reach, follower growth); recommend optimization tactics. - Coordinate influencer and affiliate collaborations, tracking deliverables and campaign compliance. - Ensure all content aligns with brand voice, values, and visual identity; collaborate with design and marketing. Required Skills: - Excellent written communication, editing, and attention to detail. - Deep familiarity with TikTok, Instagram, and emerging social platforms. - Experience with scheduling tools (Later, Buffer) and design tools (Canva, Figma) preferred. - Strong organizational skills; ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment. - Proactive research, trend‑spotting, and community engagement capabilities. Required Education & Certifications: - High School Diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred. No mandatory certifications required.
