**Job Title:** Backend Engineer
**Role Summary:**
Design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems that power AI‑driven B2B lead qualification, including data crawlers, lead representation models, and recommendation services. Operate in a low‑overhead, agile environment with weekly iterations, high autonomy, and strong emphasis on product impact and user engagement.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop and optimize backend services for data extraction crawlers and AI model inference.
- Design APIs and data pipelines to support lead recommendation and qualification workflows.
- Implement scalable storage, caching, and processing solutions for large‑volume company data.
- Collaborate with frontend, product, and data science teams to integrate features and improve user experience.
- Write unit, integration, and performance tests; conduct code reviews and maintain code quality standards.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud deployment (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Participate in weekly sprint planning, backlog grooming, and continuous improvement initiatives.
**Required Skills:**
- Proficiency in backend languages (e.g., Python, Go, Java, or Node.js).
- Experience building RESTful/GraphQL APIs and microservice architectures.
- Solid understanding of data extraction, web crawling, and handling incomplete data sources.
- Familiarity with machine‑learning model serving and inference pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), containers (Docker/Kubernetes), and infrastructure‑as‑code.
- Expertise with version control (Git), GitHub Projects, and agile development practices.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well‑tested code.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and English language skills.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
