**Job Title:** Software Engineering Manager
**Role Summary:**
Lead and scale a high‑performing software engineering team building AI‑driven SaaS solutions for dental and healthcare workflows. Drive architectural design, delivery quality, and operational reliability while collaborating with product, data science, and clinical stakeholders to advance patient‑care outcomes.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Manage day‑to‑day activities of a software engineering team (recruiting, onboarding, performance reviews, career development).
- Oversee design, development, deployment, and operation of platform components integrated into dental practice and insurance workflows.
- Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and enforce engineering best practices.
- Partner with product managers, data scientists, and clinicians to align engineering output with product goals.
- Ensure system scalability, reliability, and performance for a growing user base.
- Implement and refine processes, tools, CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and reliability practices.
- Collaborate with HR and senior leadership on talent acquisition and team culture initiatives.
**Required Skills:**
- Strong leadership and people‑management experience in an agile environment.
- Hands‑on software development of distributed SaaS systems (JavaScript/Node.js, Python, Java, C# or C++).
- Proficiency with REST APIs, SQL, MongoDB, Docker, AWS, Linux.
- Deep knowledge of software development life‑cycle, CI/CD, test automation, and reliability engineering.
- Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to translate technical concepts for diverse stakeholders.
- Proven track record delivering cross‑functional projects from concept to production.
- Proactive, fast‑learning attitude with passion for health‑tech innovation.
- Experience with healthcare, AI, or machine learning systems is a plus.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- No specific certifications required; relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are advantageous.
