In 1976 Hubbard House opened its doors as the first domestic violence shelter for victims and their children in Florida. In the past 45 years, Hubbard House has evolved into a nationally recognized full-service, certified domestic violence center providing programs and services to more than 4,000 women, children, and men annually in Duval and Baker counties. While Hubbard House is most known for its emergency shelter, the agency also provides extensive adult and youth outreach services, school-based education, therapeutic child care, court advocacy and volunteer and community education opportunities. Job Description
**Job Title:** Grants Coordinator **Role Summary:** Coordinates grant research, writing, submission, and reporting to support fundraising goals. Manages timelines, creates content, and maintains relationships with grantors, ensuring compliance with federal, state, local, and private funding requirements. **Expectations:** - Deliver high‑quality grant proposals and reports on schedule. - Identify and pursue new funding opportunities. - Maintain accurate records in grant management systems. - Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners. - Meet all background‑screening, licensing, and eligibility requirements. **Key Responsibilities:** - Research prospective grant opportunities and assess fit. - Write and edit grant proposals, budgets, and supporting documents. - Compile required materials and submit applications through designated portals. - Track grant deadlines, milestones, and reporting schedules. - Prepare and submit post‑award reports to funders. - Attend grantor meetings and represent the organization as needed. - Update and maintain data in Blackbaud Raiser's Edge (or similar) and Microsoft Office suite. - Collaborate with program staff to gather programmatic data and outcomes. **Required Skills:** - Strong written and verbal communication. - Excellent organization, attention to detail, and time‑management. - Proven success in securing grants (minimum 2 years grant writing/research). - Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). - Experience with Blackbaud Raiser's Edge preferred. - Ability to work independently and as part of a development team. - English fluency; bilingual ability a plus. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree (any field). - Minimum 2 years grant‑writing experience. - Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if travel required). - Eligibility to work in the United States (E‑Verify). - Successful completion of Level‑2 background screening, motor vehicle report, and drug/alcohol/TB screening.
