Job title: Senior SAP Basis Administrator (F/M)
Role Summary:
Lead technical administration of SAP landscapes (ECC, S/4HANA, NetWeaver, Fiori, Solution Manager) for a global multi‑division environment. Ensure operational readiness, performance, security, and compliance while supporting migration projects and incident resolution.
Expectations:
- Provide 24/7 support, primarily on weekends, for critical SAP production systems.
- Maintain high availability, throughput, and data integrity across disparate databases (SAP HANA, DB2).
- Deliver proactive monitoring, capacity planning, and documentation to sustain SLAs.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with functional teams and project managers during upgrades, migrations, and new module deployments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and upgrade SAP components (NetWeaver, S/4HANA, Solution Manager, Fiori, Web Dispatcher).
- Administer and tune SAP HANA & DB2 databases; conduct routine backups, restores, and disaster‑recovery tests.
- Implement and manage SAP security (roles, profiles, SSL certificates, SAP Router).
- Monitor system performance and database health using SAP Solution Manager, Zabbix, Grafana; optimize resource utilization.
- Coordinate and execute system migrations, including S/4HANA lift‑and‑shift or greenfield projects.
- Provide Level 2/3 technical support, diagnose incidents, and document solutions.
- Produce and maintain up‑to‑date technical documentation, runbooks, and procedures.
Required Skills:
- Expertise in SAP NetWeaver, S/4HANA, Solution Manager, Fiori, Web Dispatcher, SAP HANA, and DB2.
- Strong Linux (SUSE) and Windows Server administration background.
- Experience with VMware virtualisation, TCP/IP, load balancing, SSL, VPN.
- Monitoring tools: SAP Solution Manager, Zabbix, Grafana.
- ITIL processes: incident, change, problem management.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Bilingual: English fluent (B2/C1) for international collaboration.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s (Bac+3) to Master’s (Bac+5) degree in Computer Science, Systems/Network Administration, or Database Management.
- Minimum 7 years of SAP Basis experience, including migration/upgrade projects.
- SAP Certified Technology Associate (SAP HANA, S/4HANA) a must; Linux/Windows certifications are a plus.
