Job Description: Job Title: DevOps Analyst Role Summary: Manage Linux and Windows production environments and deploy AWS infrastructure using Terraform. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, automate operations with Python, and enforce cloud security and compliance. Support developers, monitor system health, troubleshoot incidents, and help elevate junior team members. Expectations: 1–3 years of DevOps, Cloud Ops, or systems administration experience. Strong problem‑solving and communication skills. Ability to follow established standards while driving continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: - Provision and maintain Linux/Windows servers in production. - Deploy and manage AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, etc.) and tailor solutions to business needs. - Implement cloud security best practices: IAM policies, least privilege, network isolation, encryption, and secret management. - Design, develop, and refine CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions (and optionally Jenkins/GitLab CI). - Write Python scripts for automation, monitoring, and workflow integration. - Maintain Terraform IaC modules; manage state, version control, and module reuse. - Configure monitoring, alerting, and log collection (e.g., CloudWatch, dashboards). - Conduct incident investigations, root–cause analysis, and postmortem documentation. - Collaborate with development and security teams to embed best practices in deployments. - Mentor junior DevOps analysts and produce runbooks, process docs, and knowledge‑base articles. Required Skills: - Linux/Windows server administration. - AWS service architecture and deployment. - Terraform IaC principles (modules, state, VCS). - Python scripting for automations. - CI/CD toolsets (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI). - Cloud security frameworks and compliance standards. - Monitoring/logging tools (CloudWatch, etc.). - Strong analytical and communication abilities. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with a focus in Cybersecurity. - AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate (preferred). - Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) or other cloud platforms (Azure, GCP) is a plus.
