Job Title: Data Analyst
Role Summary: Spearhead collection, cleansing, analysis, and visualization of sports marketing data to uncover insights, evaluate sponsorship performance, and inform strategic decisions for brand clients. Deliver recurring dashboards, report decks, and ad‑hoc analyses to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and clarity.
Expactations: Drive data‑driven decision making, strengthen reporting quality, support client relationships, and continuously improve data processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mine, clean, and analyze data from brand, league, team, and third‑party sources to assess sponsorship effectiveness and fan engagement.
- Conduct trend and performance‑driver analyses, translating findings into actionable insights aligned with KPIs.
- Build, maintain, and QA Tableau and Excel dashboards for recurring reporting; prepare client‑ready visualizations and presentations.
- Collaborate with account, strategy, and property data teams to define analytical scopes and gather validated data.
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and status updates; ensure on‑time, high‑quality outputs.
- Benchmark sponsorships against competitors and support research into sports industry trends and fan behavior.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data manipulation).
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem‑solving capabilities.
- Clear, compelling communication of complex analyses.
- Detail‑oriented, data‑accuracy focus.
- Project management and multitasking in fast‑paced environments.
- Tableau dashboard development (preferred).
- Basic SQL, Python, or other analytical tools (preferred).
- Familiarity with marketing analytics, media measurement, or CRM ecosystems (preferred).
- Understanding of sports marketing, sponsorship, or fan data (preferred).
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Marketing, or related field.
