**Job Title:** DevOps Engineer
**Role Summary:**
Experienced DevOps professional responsible for designing, building, and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and container orchestration to support scalable micro‑services web applications. Works cross‑functionally with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to ensure reliable, repeatable deployments and optimal system performance.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver end‑to‑end automation for deployment, testing, and operations.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of cloud environments.
- Collaborate closely with software and QA engineers to streamline release processes.
- Proactively monitor and resolve performance or reliability issues.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Groovy.
- Automate provisioning and configuration with Terraform and Ansible.
- Create and maintain Python scripts for deployment, testing, and operational tasks.
- Deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Build and manage AWS services (EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudFormation).
- Work with development and QA teams to integrate delivery workflows.
- Monitor system health; use tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog to address issues.
**Required Skills:**
- AWS cloud architecture and services (EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudFormation).
- CI/CD pipeline creation with Jenkins and Groovy scripting.
- Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Ansible.
- Containerization: Docker; orchestration: Kubernetes.
- Python programming for automation.
- Strong troubleshooting and performance‑tuning abilities.
- Minimum 5 years of DevOps, infrastructure automation, and CI/CD experience.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- AWS Certification (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or comparable).
- Demonstrated expertise in Python (certification optional but preferred).
