**Job Title:** Business Development Associate – Advice & Wealth Management **Role Summary:** Drive new client acquisition for an independent fund‑rating research firm. Focus on building relationships within the UK intermediary sector (financial advisers, wealth managers, investment managers) through multi‑channel outreach. Evaluate prospects, present tailored product solutions, and convert leads into qualified opportunities, ensuring sales targets are met. **Expectations:** - Establish and maintain knowledge of the intermediary market, competitors, and client needs. - Meet or exceed key metrics: lead identification, qualified meetings, pipeline growth, and conversion rates. - Operate autonomously in a fast‑paced, remote‑first environment while collaborating with internal teams. **Key Responsibilities:** - Conduct thorough research on prospects to identify potential opportunities. - Develop, schedule, and execute outreach campaigns via calls, emails, and LinkedIn. - Determine customer needs, recommend appropriate RSMR products/services, and close deals. - Manage end‑to‑end sales cycle: lead qualification, proposal creation, negotiation, and final sign‑off. - Maintain accurate prospect and client information in HubSpot CRM, including logs, activity tracking, and pipeline status. - Collaborate with product and marketing teams to refine messaging and promotional materials. **Required Skills:** - Strong communication and consultative selling skills, preferably with a telephone‑based sales background. - Proficiency in CRM usage (HubSpot preferred) and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace. - Self‑starter with excellent time‑management and organisational abilities. - Adaptability, resilience, and willingness to learn in a dynamic environment. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Degree level a plus (not mandatory). - Knowledge or genuine interest in the financial services sector is essential. ---
