Job Description

**Job Title:** IAM – Azure Automation Engineer (Remote) **Role Summary:** Design, develop, and maintain automated identity lifecycle solutions in Azure, utilizing PowerShell, .NET/C#, Bicep, and Azure services to streamline user provisioning, access management, and governance for enterprise environments. **Expectations:** - Deliver scalable, secure identity automation pipelines. - Ensure seamless integration with existing Azure AD and on‑premises Active Directory. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to meet project deadlines. - Adhere to industry best practices for identity security and compliance. **Key Responsibilities:** - Create and manage Azure AD provisioning/deprovisioning workflows (user, group, application). - Script and automate identity processes using PowerShell and .NET/C#. - Deploy IaC solutions with Bicep for Azure Function Apps, Service Bus, and API Management. - Configure CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions) for automated deployment and testing. - Implement secure API exposure via Azure API Management for identity operations. - Monitor event streams and orchestrate IAM workflows using Azure Service Bus. - Troubleshoot and optimize performance of identity automation pipelines. - Document processes, configurations, and best practices for knowledge sharing. **Required Skills:** - Advanced PowerShell scripting for IAM automation. - .NET/C# development for automation services and Azure Functions. - IaC with Bicep for Azure resource deployment. - Strong understanding of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) user, group, and application management. - Experience with Azure Service Bus, Azure Function Apps, Azure API Management, and Azure DevOps/GitHub pipelines. - Proficiency in Active Directory provisioning/deprovisioning and group management. - Knowledge of identity security, authentication protocols, and compliance requirements. - Ability to work independently in a remote environment. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Microsoft Certified: Azure AD Administrator Associate and/or Azure Developer Associate. - Preferred: Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate or Azure Infrastructure Engineer Associate.
