Job title: Senior DevOps Engineer
Role Summary:
Lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of Linux/Windows production environments across multiple cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, public clouds, and private cloud solutions). Deliver robust monitoring, automation, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure high availability, performance, and security of client-facing services.
Expactations:
- Deliver reliable, secure, and scalable infrastructure for clients.
- Continuously improve automation and monitoring processes.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to support rapid, iterative releases.
- Provide technical guidance and training to internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy and manage Linux/Windows servers in AWS, Azure, and other cloud environments.
- Implement and enhance application supervision and monitoring (SLI/SLO/SLA) to generate accurate, actionable metrics.
- Ensure high availability, reliability, and security of production systems.
- Configure and maintain orchestration and configuration tools (Puppet, Ansible).
- Automate routine operational tasks and evolve automation tooling.
- Build, maintain, and support CI/CD pipelines for building, testing, and delivering code.
- Provide user support for integration and deployment platforms.
- Document architecture, configuration, monitoring, and operational processes; deliver training where required.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience with Linux and Windows server administration.
- Proven expertise in AWS, Azure, and hybrid cloud environments.
- Proficient with configuration management tools (Puppet, Ansible).
- Solid knowledge of monitoring solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or equivalent).
- Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps Pipelines).
- Scripting proficiency (Bash, PowerShell, Python).
- Understanding of SLI/SLO/SLA concepts and implementation.
- Familiarity with security best practices and compliance standards.
- Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Puppet Certified Practitioner, Ansible Certified Developer, or equivalent).
