**Job Title:** Functional Consultant – Techno‑Functional (Level 2) **Role Summary:** Mid‑senior level consultant responsible for configuring, customizing, and integrating IBM Maximo Application Suite (Maximo Manage 8.x) to meet business process requirements. Acts as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, delivering robust solutions, automations, and integrations while adhering to best practices and quality standards. **Expectations:** - 7‑8 years of hands‑on experience with Maximo Manage 8.x. - Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, Python, and SQL for custom development. - Ability to design, develop, and support complex Maximo MBO customizations and automation scripts. - Deliver seamless integrations with external systems (e.g., Salesforce) using REST, JSON, and MIF. - Apply DevOps practices (Bitbucket/Git, CI/CD pipelines) for code versioning and delivery. - Understand Maximo migration, profile, and permission management. - Communicate effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders and solve problems analytically. **Key Responsibilities:** - Configure and customize Maximo Manage 8.x to align with client business processes. - Develop and maintain custom MBOs, Java components, and automation scripts. - Design and implement integrations with external platforms (Salesforce, etc.) using REST APIs, JSON, and Maximo Integration Framework. - Manage source control, branching, and CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket/Git. - Support Maximo migration activities, including profile creation and permission settings. - Conduct requirement analysis, translate business KPIs into functional specifications, and provide technical guidance. - Perform troubleshooting, performance tuning, and provide post‑implementation support. - Document solutions, configurations, and standard operating procedures. **Required Skills:** - Maximo Application Suite / Maximo Manage 8.x (configuration, customization) - Java, JavaScript, Python, SQL - Maximo MBO development and automation scripting - RESTful services, JSON, Maximo Integration Framework (MIF) - Integration experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems - DevOps tools: Bitbucket, Git, CI/CD pipelines - Knowledge of Maximo migration processes, profile/permission management - Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication abilities **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Relevant certifications (e.g., IBM Maximo Functional/Technical, Java, DevOps) are desirable but not mandatory.
