Job Title: Senior Account Manager Role Summary: Drives acquisition and growth of high‑value commercial accounts within a VAR setting, delivering tailored Microsoft‑based IT solutions (M365, Azure, Security, infrastructure) to C‑level stakeholders and achieving revenue and gross profit targets. Expectations: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly gross profit goals; manage the full sales lifecycle; build and maintain a robust pipeline; craft compelling, client‑centric proposals; collaborate cross‑functionally; keep precise CRM records and forecasts. Key Responsibilities: - Prospect, qualify, and close new commercial opportunities across diverse sectors. - Develop and manage a high‑performing pipeline from lead generation to contract negotiation. - Position and present VAR solutions (Microsoft 365, Azure, Security, infrastructure) to executive audiences. - Collaborate with Pre‑Sales, Procurement, and Service Delivery to craft client‑centric proposals. - Maintain detailed CRM entries, forecasts, and performance reports. - Achieve or surpass gross profit targets and KPIs. Required Skills: - Proven new‑business development in an IT reseller/VAR environment. - Deep knowledge of Microsoft technologies, licensing models, and solution selling. - Ability to translate complex client requirements into scalable technology solutions. - Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with C‑level stakeholders. - Commercial acumen and strategic thinking in fast‑paced, target‑driven settings. - Experience managing large accounts and navigating complex sales cycles. - Proficiency in CRM systems and data‑driven sales reporting. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or related field. - Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Microsoft 365 Certified) preferred.
