**Job Title**
NLP & Agentic AI Researcher
**Role Summary**
Conduct cutting‑edge research in Natural Language Processing with a focus on agentic AI and reasoning models. Develop efficient, frugal algorithms, create and evaluate datasets, and disseminate findings through publications, patents, and open‑source contributions.
**Expectations**
- Deliver peer‑reviewed research that advances the state of the art in NLP and agentic AI.
- Publish in high‑impact journals and conferences; serve as a conference reviewer.
- Translate research into deployable components (APIs, libraries, datasets).
- Engage in knowledge transfer and technology licensing.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. **Research & Development**
- Extend and innovate on existing research in agentic AI, reasoning, and NLP.
- Design frugal, scalable algorithms for planning, orchestration, memory, and user interaction.
- Construct and curate datasets and simulation environments.
2. **Evaluation & Validation**
- Implement rigorous evaluation pipelines, including reproducibility checks and benchmark testing.
- Apply data‑science and ML methodologies: data preprocessing, model selection, hyperparameter tuning, and performance analysis.
3. **Dissemination & IP**
- Prepare manuscript drafts, posters, and talks for top conferences and journals.
- Review conference papers for peers.
- File patents for novel techniques.
- Release code, APIs, and datasets as open source when appropriate.
4. **Collaboration & Outreach**
- Collaborate with internal teams and external academic/industrial partners.
- Attend workshops, webinars, and conferences; contribute to community knowledge.
**Required Skills**
- Deep expertise in NLP, LLMs, agentic AI, reinforcement learning, deep learning, and knowledge representation.
- Strong data‑science methodology: feature engineering, model evaluation, statistical rigor.
- Programming proficiency (Python, CUDA, container orchestration); experience with virtual environments, CI/CD, automated testing, API design.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
- Proven record of conference presentations and publications in major AI/NLP venues.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- PhD in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or related field with specialization in AI or data science.
