Job Description
Job title: MES/TCU Implementation Consultant Role Summary: Deploy and configure Siemens Toolset solutions within Microsoft Azure, ensuring integration with PLM, MES, and ERP systems. Act as a technical consultant to support system implementation and optimization for manufacturing operations. Expectations: - Complete implementation within the defined project timeline (temporary role until Nov 2026). - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (engineering, IT, manufacturing) to deliver functional solutions. - Maintain documentation and provide training/support to end users. - Adhere to Siemens best practices and security standards. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze business requirements and design Siemens toolset architecture in Azure. - Install, configure, and test Siemens solutions, ensuring seamless integration with PLM, MES, and ERP systems. - Perform data migration, mapping, and validation tasks. - Develop and execute test plans, defect tracking, and resolution. - Create technical documentation, configuration guides, and user manuals. - Deliver training sessions to functional and technical stakeholders. - Provide post‑implementation support and troubleshooting. - Participate in sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, and retrospective meetings. Required Skills: - Strong experience with Siemens MES/TCU tools (e.g., Siemens NX, Teamcenter, Simcenter). - Proficiency in Microsoft Azure services (VMs, Azure DevOps, Azure Active Directory). - Knowledge of PLM, MES, and ERP integration principles (API, OPC UA, XML/EDI). - Experience with data migration and integration testing. - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development practices. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or related field. - Siemens certification in MES/TCU implementation preferred. - Azure certification (e.g., AZ-204 or AZ-303) desirable.
