Job Description
**Job Title** Segment Director – Technical Foam **Role Summary** Lead the Technical Foam segment as a strategic driver of growth and innovation. Own the segment vision, product roadmap, and market positioning. Manage a multidisciplinary team (engineering, product management, marketing), coordinate with R&D and production, and represent the segment within the executive leadership and the broader industry. **Expectations** - Deliver measurable growth and market expansion for the Technical Foam segment. - Provide strategic direction while maintaining operational focus and execution capability. - Foster an entrepreneurial culture, encouraging innovation across incremental and breakthrough product developments. - Build and sustain strong relationships with premium clients and industry stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities** - Define and execute the segment strategy, vision, roadmap, and priority initiatives. - Drive innovation by partnering with R&D on incremental and breakthrough applications. - Lead, develop, and coach a multidisciplinary team of 10–15 members. - Co‑develop customized solutions with key construction, automotive, and packaging clients. - Collaborate with commercial units on pricing, business development, and tailored offerings. - Represent the segment within the Group’s leadership team and externally at trade fairs, industry events, and client engagements. **Required Skills** - 10+ years of senior management experience in B2B industrial sectors (plastics, foams, materials, automotive, construction). - Strong technical acumen and engineering background. - Proven ability to lead technical segments or business units to market growth. - Strategic and hands‑on leadership style with talent‑development capabilities. - Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills. - Multilingual: fluent in French, German, and English. - Entrepreneurial mindset and openness to new markets and innovation. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (materials, mechanical, chemical, or related field). - Relevant business or management qualification (MBA or similar) is an asset.
