**Job Title:** Principal Data Scientist **Role Summary:** Lead the design, development, and delivery of advanced data‑science and applied‑AI solutions across complex infrastructure projects. Job Description
**Job Title:** Project Manager I – Design‑Build Drainage Engineering **Role Summary:** Lead design‑build drainage projects for transportation infrastructure, managing scope, schedule, budget, and client relations. Provide technical oversight on hydrologic/hydraulic design, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and ensure delivery of quality work on time and within budget. **Expectations:** - Develop project scopes, fee proposals, and contracts using the firm’s Sophisticated Contracting Approach. - Serve as primary client liaison and maintain client satisfaction. - Mentor and supervise project staff, handling staffing, performance reviews, and succession planning. - Contribute to business development and proposal preparation for strategic projects. **Key Responsibilities:** - Create and execute project management plans (SDA) and monitor performance against schedule, cost, and quality targets. - Perform technical tasks: hydrologic/hydraulic modeling, drainage calculations, specifications, and report generation. - Coordinate with civil, structural, and other discipline leads to deliver integrated designs. - Develop cost estimates, identify risks, and support pursuit efforts. - Review and approve design deliverables, proposals, and fee estimates as subject‑matter expert. - Ensure compliance with stormwater permitting requirements at local, state, and federal levels. - Lead proposal development, client presentations, and industry outreach. **Required Skills:** - Expertise in drainage, stormwater, water quality, and surface water design. - Proficient with industry software: MicroStation, InRoads/GEOPAK, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Storm CAD, HEC‑RAS (1D/2D), SWMM, PondPack, Culvert Master, Flow Master, HydroCAD, etc. - Strong project scheduling, budgeting, and risk management abilities. - Excellent communication and client‑relationship skills. - Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior staff. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (civil, environmental, or related). - Minimum 8 years of relevant engineering experience, including at least 2 years in task management or deputy project manager role. - Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred; ability to obtain PE in multiple states desirable. - Master’s degree in Engineering preferred.
