Job Title: Développeur web / Développeuse web
Role Summary: Lead the design, development, and deployment of innovative digital solutions for a global financial client, focusing on AI, mobile, and web technologies within a hybrid physical-digital innovation lab. Act as a technical pioneer, working closely with cross‑functional teams to prototype, test, and roll out high‑value features.
Expectations: Deliver end‑to‑end technical ownership of projects, ensuring scalability, performance, and security. Drive continuous improvement through research, Make‑or‑Buy analyses, and vendor coordination. Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to stakeholders and facilitate client workshops.
Key Responsibilities
- Define detailed technical specifications for the physical and digital components of the Lab’.
- Conduct interviews with industry experts to capture functional requirements and translate them into actionable designs.
- Evaluate vendor solutions (Make‑or‑Buy) for AI, cloud, and mobile components; select partners and negotiate contracts.
- Lead development teams (Java, React, Node.js, Android) and coordinate integration of APIs, micro‑services, and Docker containers.
- Implement version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing to maintain code quality.
- Execute functional and user acceptance testing; resolve defects and ensure product meets performance criteria.
- Support deployment to production environments on GCP, AWS, or IBM Cloud, and monitor system health post‑launch.
- Provide post‑implementation training and documentation for client teams.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent (≥5 years of experience).
- Deep expertise in Java/Web development (HTML5, JavaScript, Node.js, Bootstrap) and Android mobile development.
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, IBM Cloud), containerization (Docker), and micro‑architecture principles.
- Experience managing source code with Git and delivering releases via CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts and hands‑on experience with AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Familiarity with IoT,wearables and connected device ecosystems.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct Make‑or‑Buy analyses and vendor negotiations.
- Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) in English; French is an advantage.
- Ability to simplify complex concepts for non‑technical stakeholders.
Required Education & Certifications
- Master’s degree (MSc) or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Certifications in AI/ML, cloud (GCP/AWS), and Java development are preferred.
