**Job Title**
EDM Developer, Data Warehouse & Management
**Role Summary**
Design, develop, and maintain enterprise data management (EDM) solutions using IHS Markit EDM, Informatica, and SQL Server. Ensure high‑quality, compliant market data flows, build unified data sources, and create user interfaces for reporting and operations. Collaborate with agile teams, stakeholders, and subject‑matter experts to deliver business‑value solutions across investment and banking finance domains.
**Experience Expectations**
- Minimum 13 years of data warehouse architecture, development, and maintenance.
- 5–10 years of hands‑on experience with Markit EDM (S&P), Informatica MDM, PowerCenter, or IICS.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Analyze and document business processes, verify compliance with controlled procedures.
2. Design, develop, and support EDM solutions for financial market data.
3. Build unified “source of truth” models using the Markit EDM tool.
4. Create data flows, master data models, and perform business validation in EDM.
5. Develop user interfaces with Markit EDM UI components for reporting and operations.
6. Write, optimize, and maintain SQL Server queries, stored procedures, views, and dynamic SQL.
7. Participate in product backlog grooming, user‑story definition, and Jira sprint planning with product owner, scrum master, and SMEs.
8. Deliver technical solutions to stakeholders in sprint demos, articulating business value.
9. Conduct end‑to‑end testing, including production and development environments; prepare disaster‑recovery procedures and apply upgrades.
10. Engage customers and internal teams to troubleshoot, support, and enhance applications.
11. Collaborate on platform investigations, architecture reviews, and continuous‑integration/continuous‑delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
**Required Skills**
- Deep knowledge of SQL Server, T‑SQL, and complex query optimization.
- Expertise in IHS Markit EDM (S&P) tooling and CADIS ecosystem.
- Proficiency with Informatica MDM, PowerCenter, or IICS.
- Experience with business‑intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau).
- Unix/shell scripting or equivalent automation scripting.
- Version control (Git/Bitbucket) and CI/CD pipeline operations.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and stakeholder‑communication abilities.
- Understanding of cloud services related to investments and banking finance (security, FX, pricing, issuers, NAIC, cashflows).
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Informatica MDM/PowerCenter, IHS Markit EDM) preferred but not mandatory.
