Job Description
**Job Title** Engineering Product Manager **Role Summary** Lead product strategy, roadmap, and delivery for an industrial‑scale automated indoor farm platform. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define user needs, prioritize features, and align development with business objectives in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment. **Expectations** - Own the product vision and execute the Go‑to‑Market (GTM) and technology roadmap. - Drive business results through data‑driven decision making and financial modeling. - Maintain a healthy product backlog and ensure timely releases that deliver maximum value. - Foster a culture of collaboration, agile excellence, and continuous improvement across engineering, plant science, marketing, and operations. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Identify and translate business requirements and user goals into actionable product stories. 2. Operate and update financial models to assess technology viability and cost assumptions. 3. Define product vision, create and maintain a product roadmap, and spot growth opportunities. 4. Partner with Program Management to plan, prioritize, and track feature backlog(s). 5. Guide the Agile development team: provide vision, prioritize stories, ensure adequate sprint capacity, and remove blockers. 6. Lead product release planning and set delivery expectations. 7. Conduct user and customer research to build personas and inform future strategy. 8. Stay current with Agile/Scrum best practices and industry trends. **Required Skills** - Product innovation and strategy execution (5+ years). - Strong cross‑functional partnership and communication (written & verbal). - Agile/Scrum leadership and backlog management. - Financial modeling and ability to interpret operational cost data. - Project management with a bias for action, urgency, and high‑visibility delivery. - Detail‑oriented, ownership mindset, and ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast‑moving contexts. - Experience in small or startup environments a plus. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree (mandatory). - No specific certifications required, though agile certifications (e.g., CSPO, PMI‑ACP) are advantageous.
