**Job Title** Research Archivist Intern **Role Summary** Provide temporary, high‑accuracy research and archival support for a foundation’s grant‑making records and strategic evaluation projects. The intern will work independently, using electronic databases, data management tools, and research methodologies to enhance and maintain the foundation’s historical documentation. **Expectations** - Work up to 30 hrs per week for a 3‑month internship term. - Align internship deliverables with internal team needs and personal development goals. - Demonstrate professionalism, dedication, and humility at all times. - Deliver timely, accurate outputs and maintain data integrity. **Key Responsibilities** - Review, organize, scan, and synthesize electronic and paper grant‑making records. - Expand existing records with information from internet sources (academic publications, institutional documents, CVs, etc.). - Prepare materials for potential oral history projects: identify interviewees, draft questions, collect contact details. - Conduct internet research, review grant documents, and update datasets to support strategic planning and evaluation initiatives. **Required Skills** - Independent, detail‑oriented work style with high accuracy. - Proficient in internet research and data management tools (Excel). - Experience with Salesforce or OCR software is advantageous. - Strong organizational and process‑orientation skills. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree (required), preferably in library and information science, comparative literature, archival studies, or a related field. - No additional certifications required.
