**Job Title** Planning & Allocation Analyst Intern – Summer 2026 **Role Summary** Assist the Planning & Allocation team in managing store and regional merchandise plans, conduct data analysis, prepare reports, and support forecasting activities. Gain hands‑on experience in retail merchandising and allocation processes under the guidance of a senior analyst. **Expactations** - 10‑week rotation blending classroom‑style training, mentorship, and practical assignments. - Exposure to internal and external business functions, development of analytical and Excel skills, and participation in strategy sessions. - Opportunity for continued full‑time employment in Allocation, Planning, or related careers upon completion. **Key Responsibilities** - Analyze sales, inventory, and market data to inform allocation recommendations. - Assist in developing and refining regional planning strategies. - Contribute to forecasting processes to capture business opportunities. - Create and update distribution and allocation reports for store and department use. - Collaborate closely with planners, merchandisers, and other functional teammates to execute initiatives. **Required Skills** - Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data visualization). - Ability to interpret data reports and present actionable insights. - Effective written and verbal communication skills. - Detail‑oriented, critical thinker, and proactive self‑starter. - Team player who can build productive partnerships across departments. **Required Education & Certifications** - Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s program (Merchandising, Marketing, Business, or related field). - Expected graduation between December 2026 and August 2027. - Basic familiarity with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
