**Job Title** Senior Solution Engineer **Role Summary** Lead technical pre‑sales engagements with partners and customers, delivering solution presentations, building proof‑of‑concept environments, and supporting the entire sales cycle for AvePoint’s data security and governance products across Microsoft, Google, Salesforce, and other collaboration ecosystems. **Expectations** - Minimum 6 years of relevant sales‑engineering or pre‑sales experience. - University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (equivalent experience acceptable). - Deep technical knowledge of Office 365, SharePoint, and modern collaboration platforms. - Strong presentation, negotiation, and business‑tech alignment skills. - Experience working within channel models (ISVs, MSPs, VARs, distributors, systems integrators). - Self‑motivated learner who can quickly adapt to evolving technology and market dynamics. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Conduct remote and on‑site technical presentations, solution discovery, and deep‑dive sessions for partners and customers. 2. Build customized PoC environments illustrating product capabilities and ROI. 3. Collaborate with partner account managers throughout the sales lifecycle, ensuring technical alignment with partner objectives. 4. Co‑author RFI/RFP responses, proposals, and go‑to‑market strategies to drive deal closure. 5. Share product insights with sales and technical teams and assist in partner enablement activities. 6. Establish and maintain relationships with key business and technical advocates to promote long‑term solution adoption. 7. Support partner marketing events, workshops, tradeshows, and webinars, providing on‑site technical expertise. 8. Own technical sales opportunities and partner recruitment closure metrics. **Required Skills** - Advanced technical and business communication. - Proficiency in data security, governance, and Office 365/SharePoint architecture. - Ability to translate technical value propositions into business benefits. - Strong presentation and facilitation abilities. - Strategic thinking and sales acumen. - Knowledge of channel partnership dynamics and ecosystem roles. - Experience with PoC development, RFI/RFP writing, and proposal generation. - Collaborative mindset with the capacity to work independently. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent experience). - Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Microsoft 365 Certified, Salesforce Administrator, CISSP) are preferred but not mandatory.
