Job Description
Job title: Consultant Prevention Health & Safety in the Workplace (H/F) Role Summary: Provide expert health and safety consultancy to private and public clients across France, developing and implementing risk‑reduction strategies, conducting audits, and delivering tailored training over a multi‑year horizon. Expectations: High‑volume travel throughout France; deliver client‑specific prevention plans, engage at executive board levels (COMEX/CODIR), achieve measurable accident reduction targets, and generate new business opportunities (with sales incentive). Key Responsibilities: - Identify clients’ occupational health and safety needs and formulate a 3‑year prevention strategy. - Present and influence executive committees on holistic risk management plans. - Design and conduct training workshops on prevention, health and safety topics. - Perform safety audits, diagnostics, and ISO compliance checks (e.g., ISO 45001). - Analyze incidents using root‑cause (fault‑tree) methodology and recommend corrective actions. - Draft regulatory documents such as DUERP and other management reports. - Produce intervention proposals, intervention reports, and risk‑prevention plans. - Facilitate the creation and delivery of custom training modules. - Prospect and nurture client relationships to secure new and repeat engagements. Required Skills: - Strong knowledge of occupational health & safety regulations, ISO 45001, and French workplace legislation. - Proficient in risk assessment, incident analysis, and root‑cause techniques. - Excellent communication and presentation skills, adept at influencing senior management. - Proven ability to develop customized training programs and conduct training delivery. - Client‑management expertise, self‑directed and result‑focused, with a sales‐oriented mindset. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene, Safety Engineering, or equivalent. - Professional certifications in occupational health & safety (e.g., ISO 45001 Lead Auditor, PSE, or equivalent) are mandatory.
