Job Description: Job Title: Data Scientist Role Summary: Design, develop, and deploy machine learning and natural language processing solutions on Azure using Python and SQL. Build and maintain large language model (LLM) retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines and other advanced ML systems. Expectations: - Execute end‑to‑end ML projects, from data extraction to model deployment. - Communicate findings and impact metrics to technical and business stakeholders. - Deliver high‑quality code and documentation in a collaborative, agile environment. Key Responsibilities: - Extract, clean, and transform data using SQL and Python. - Design and implement ML/NLP models, incorporating LLMs and RAG techniques. - Develop scalable, production‑grade ML system architecture on Azure. - Integrate models into end‑to‑end pipelines and monitor performance. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Required Skills: - Proficient in Python; experience with Java and other OOP languages. - Advanced SQL querying and database design. - Deep knowledge of Azure services (ML Azure, Azure Cognitive Services, etc.). - Expertise in machine learning, NLP, LLMs, and RAG frameworks. - Strong systems design and architecture abilities for production ML systems. - Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD, and containerization. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related field. - Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Azure AI Engineer Associate, Azure Data Scientist Associate) preferred.
